Matt Burns - Brookly Salsa Company

Matt was nice enough to take me into his home and let me photograph him in his comfortable loft near the Morgan stop. This was over a month ago. I'm an asshole for not getting this up until now.

Matt is the Co-Founder and Create Taste Operator of The Brooklyn Salsa Company. The Brooklyn Salsa company is a bad ass salsa company that sources all their ingredients locally and has a truly amazing approach to sustainability. Their salsa is produced in Kingston, New York, about 100 miles from the city, and all their ingredients are sourced from local farms that are within a reasonable driving distance from the production facility. This is some of the best salsa that I've ever tried. Make sure to check it out when you have a chance. They distribute through Whole Foods and Fairway, as well as the Deli and General Store on Flushing, with more locations to come.
