ABOUT

Marty Diegelman and Sophie Butcher are a photography duo based in Brooklyn, New York. They met while shooting for a local paper and now share a studio space in Brooklyn. Marty always has a camera in his back pocket constantly shooting street photography. His first project, called FameFameFame, documented his neighbors, the residents of Williamsburg in the early 2000s.

Sophie also enjoys photographing human interest stories. She is a photographer at T Brand Studio, The New York Times' in-house advertising agency and has shot for several tourism boards– being on the road exploring new cultures is one of her favorite things. She also loves to draw along the way. Together, Marty and Sophie love to photograph people and objects and aren't afraid to travel! Please get in touch if you're interested in collaborating.
